About Act First CPR Training Services

Act First CPR Training Services is a small CPR training business owned and led by Brianna McCarthy, a freelance certified and insured CPR Instructor.

Brianna leads highly demonstrative and hands-on training sessions for her students to perform effective, high-quality CPR, AED, and First-aid services in accordance with the American Heart Association and Health and Safety Institute teaching material and recent guidelines.

Students will take away more knowledge about CPR, its importance, and emergency response through Brianna’s unique approach to teaching and sharing skills and experience from her work in the ER and hospital-care setting.

Act First CPR Training Services’ mission is to spread awareness of heart disease and increase bystander CPR knowledge and confidence, ultimately improving the survival rate of sudden cardiac arrest victims in the local communities.

About Brianna

Brianna (a.k.a “Bri”) grew up and resides in America’s Hometown. She has been a healthcare worker at the town’s community hospital for the past 8 years. She currently works as an ER technician and perioperative patient care assistant, gaining invaluable skills and experience in preparation to become a Physician Assistant, her dream career.

Brianna is also a martial artist of 15 years and has been an instructor ever since she earned her first black belt. When she graduated from Stonehill College at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, she right away hustled on the frontline and developed her professional career. Since her grandfather’s passing of a sudden cardiac arrest later that year, it became Brianna’s new passion to utilize her teaching skills to spread awareness of heart disease and recruit CPR-confident bystanders in her community. She may not have been able to control her grandfather’s survival, but in his honor, is willing to prepare and improve that of others.
